PCI Pal®, the global provider of secure payment solutions, is delighted to announce that its SVP of Professional Services, Sadie Ahier, has been announced as a nominee for the Computing Women in Tech Excellence Awards 2020. This is the second time Sadie has been recognised in the awards, specifically relating to its Security Leader category.
Computing is committed to continuing to champion greater diversity in the technology industry for the long term. Its Women in Tech Excellence Awards are therefore designed to recognise top-performing women in technology, providing inspiration for younger women looking to build a career in the tech industry.
Sadie leads the department responsible for all aspects of customer deployment, project management, services and solutions at PCI Pal. The department plays a critical role in the deployment of PCI Pal’s solutions to organisations wishing to secure their customers’ payments across any number of customer engagement channels including voice, webchat, social media, email, and SMS.
James Barham, CEO of PCI Pal said, “We’re very proud that Sadie has been recognised once again as a nominee in the respected UK Women in Tech Excellence Awards. She is a hugely valuable member of our senior management team, and her department has been instrumental in maintaining our high levels of performance, delivering our cloud-based secure payment solutions to partners and customers across the globe in such unprecedented times. And she and her team have managed it whilst retaining, and indeed improving, our already excellent Net Promoter Scores.
“What makes this even more special is what people don’t necessarily see behind the scenes; whilst juggling her career as a senior manager within our high-growth tech company, Sadie is raising two children single-handedly, one of whom lives with additional needs. We all respect and value Sadie; she certainly has the vote of every person at PCI Pal.”
The organisers of the awards said, “The Women in Tech Excellence Awards is designed to help move us as an industry towards a solution, by recognising and promoting the many talented females, and other success stories. There are places in IT for females, and this industry can lead to rewarding, fulfilling careers for everyone.”
The winners will be announced in November 2020. For more information visit https://womenintechexcellence.co.uk/.
